Int/Adv Contemporary Class description: Sarah’s class strives to bridge the gap between pushing our physical boundaries and remaining relatable human beings. While rooted in improvisation and contemporary technique, the emphasis is always on dynamics, rhythm, and self-exploration. Through a guided warmup that ignites our mind-body connection, the class learns to quickly release tension and make way for more powerful, efficient movement. Athleticism, floorwork, and gestural vocabulary are all utilized across the floor and in the phrases, and dancers are empowered to develop their artistry and take risks.
Sarah is also a nationally certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, and has worked at many top studios and gyms in NYC such as Equinox, Velocity Sports Performance, Complete Body, and Pure Yoga.
